The influence of the additional bending deformation caused by centrifugal force and temperature variation on the dynamic performance of composite flexible multibody system was investigated.Based on the constitutive and nonlinear straindisplacement relation,the variational dynamic equation for each composite planar beam was established by using virtual work principle and finite element method,and then the dynamic equations for composite flexible multibody system were derived.Simulation of the crankslider system shows that for nonsymmetric composite beams,the difference of the elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient may lead to additional bending deformation,which would significantly influence the dynamic performance of the system.
