The dynamic response of airport pavements subjected to a moving aircraft load was investigated. The airport pavement was modeled as a thin plate with all edges free resting on elastic foundation. The extended Kantorovich method was employed to reduce the governing partial differential equation of slab to ordinary differential equation through introducing free-free beam function, and the analytic solution of the problem was obtained by means of the Duhamel’s integral equation. Numerical calculations were preformed to illustrate the dynamic displacement response of pavements under moving loads. It is shown that the velocity of moving load, plate thickness and subgrade modulus have significant effect on the dynamic behaviors of pavements, while the acceleration and deceleration of moving loads have little effect on the dynamic response of pavements.
